“A View of Holland” Painting by Arlene Wise with beautiful frame. This lovely oil on canvas painting depicts a windmill, lovely rolling hills and cows grazing in the distance. It was painted by living artist, Arlene Wise, who lives in Maryland.
This painting has quite a well rounded color palette and shows a nice sense of depth and detail. Wise has captured Holland’s countryside beautifully, showing a agreable scene probably just before the sun sets. The warm afternoon sun casts a lovely glow on the grasses, and we get a nice sense of the breeze.
The painting has a date of 1994. It has very good vintage condition. Both the frame and the canvas are in good shape.
